Teach a workshop about making homemade lye soap
Teach quilting and piecing
Photograph events
Monitor Water
Assist with the oral history quilt project
Work with youth

Volunteer with a Specific Project

TN-KY Helpers

If you are in middle or high school in the Clearfork Valley or in Jellico and are interested in leading and participating in community projects you may want to join the TN-KY Helpers.

Last year we

Sold baked goods and crafts to raise money
Cleaned up Laurel Fork swimming hole
Performed an original skit for over 50 people
Organized an arts and crafts day for young kids

Clearfork Valley Watershed Project

Interested in testing the creeks and streams in your community? Do you wonder whether the water is safe to drink or swim in? Do you have a special stream you would like to protect?
